The chai – lovers of Jaipur are spoilt for a reason. The city painted pink has a lot of places that serve perfumed and milky chai. We have selected our five personal favourite chaiwalas who serve oh–so–delicious chais in the city.

1. Gulab Ji Chaiwala

This place serves the best masala chai in the town. Everybody who visits Jaipur or who stays in Jaipur heads to this place for the very delicious chai. The thing that makes Gulab Ji Chaiwala the best chaiwala in Jaipur city is not only his best masala chai, but his humanity as well. Gulab Ji, who has his tea stall at the centre of the city, MI Road serves the less fortunate and needy people for free. Gulab Ji also serves Bun Maska and Mathri with his servings of tea.

A visit to Jaipur for a tea – lover would be a dull affair without tasting the best masala chai from this stall that serves best street food in Jaipur.

2. Sahu Ki Chai – Chaura Raasta

The chai served by this little tea shop is world famous. The chai is not just a chai that fetches money to the Sahu Chaiwala but it is a legacy that his family has been running for more than forty years. The deliciousness in the Sahu ki Chai lies in the long moderated heating of the milk, which is boiled gently on a coal stove for not less than 20 minutes. Sahu is surely one of the best chaiwalas in Jaipur for a reason.

One can enjoy the hot cup of cutting chai along with the toast and mathri to enhance the taste.

3. Dariyav Chaiwala

Dariyav Chai is famous amongst the locals of the Tonk Road. This chaiwala is famous for serving the best kesar ki chai in the city of Jaipur. Not only does he serve the Jaipur tea but he also serves hot and crispy Daal Ke Pakode and mint chutney along with his servings of tea

The chai is amazing here, and the crispy chaat masala adds up to the taste quotient. The servings of daal ki pakodi surely make this chaiwala the best street food in Jaipur.

4. Tea Connect

Surely not one of those conventional chaiwalas who have a small stall and serve maska buns with the servings of tea, but this place is surely one which serves the best tea when it comes to masala chai and ginger cardamom tea and what-not tea. The best part of this place is that the place serves tea at a very reasonable rate. The place is very famous for its ambience and quick servings.

5. Tapri Central

Again, not one of the conventional tea stalls. Tapri is the most famous hangout place for all the tea lovers who love to read a book along with drinking a nice hot cup of tea. Situated right opposite to the patriotic backdrop of tricolour, this place serves Parle G with every serving of Jaipur tea. Isn’t that cute?
