Jaipur Municipal Corporation deal to make compost from garbage


Jaipur – It is really a big problem of garbage or solid waste in the city. Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) enters into a tri-party agreement under Swachh Bharat Mission on Tuesday.

Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) was declaring that the agreement was signed with Environmental Infrastructure and Service Limited (IEISL) and Chambal Fertilizers to efficiently convert solid waste of city, in compost.

According to this agreement JMC will deliver the municipal solid waste to the company and review the infrastructural and machinery available at the compost manufacturing location and ensure that the adequacy of infrastructure and quality compliance.

On the other hand JMC officers also informed about the tender of Door To Door collection have been invited and will be open on 27 April 2016. This schema was already start in past for city solid waste but it was failed because of high charges.

Now a time proposed awarded organization will collect Rs. 40 from a plot size less than 100 square yards, Rs. 50 from more the 100 square yards, and from shops in the colonies Rs. 80 will charge and the fixed charges of Rs. 100 will take from restaurants.
