All the pensioners have to first collectively submit their registration forms with the sub divisional or the developmental officer of the block. Then, those registered applications are verified by the Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar. Then, the application is passed onto the sanction authority, where the sub divisional or the block developmental officer operates it. Then the official passes the ‘sanctioned order’ to the disbursement authority and then it’s checked by the treasury or the sub treasury authority. Then, at last the payment mode is operated through the money order, cash, bank account, post office account. Thus the disbursement of pension takes place.

The two types of schemes in this regard are-

1. Central government sponsored schemes which holds great importance-

Indhira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)

2. State Government Sponsored Scheme

State Old Age Pension Scheme (SOAPS)

Thus, these are such schemes, which helps the old aged people to be confident and really assured about their old age security through the mode of receding of the pensions.

The government of Rajasthan initiated such a scheme, along with other set of schemes to proliferate the importance of the people and their peace of mind when they are heading towards the old age.
