Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band to perform at India’s Independence Day celebrations in London


The members of Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band will perform at India's 70th Independence Day celebrations in London.

The celebrations are hosted by the Indian High Commission in London and attended by the Indian high Commissioner to the UK, Yashvardhan Kumar Sinha.

The band will perform on patriotic songs

The band has composed special tunes for the event, all with a Rajasthani touch. Their top choices include patriotic songs like Mera Rang De Basanti Chola, Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawaano Ka, Uncha Rahe Tiranga Hamara, Jaan Se Bhi Pyaara Hindustan Hamara and more.

The band will perform at several events in UK

The band will also be performing at several other places in UK. Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band will perform at the Glastonbury Festival, which is a 5-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset.

The band members will spend 5 months in UK and will perform at various fests during this time. Some of the members left for UK on 17th May while others will leave on 21st May.
