Before the onset of Navratra, Jaipur gears up for Dancing to the Beats of Dandiya


It is about time this year, when we shake our body to the garba and the Dandiya songs and dance to the melodious tunes of and in the colours of the Navratra season. Putting an end to the long gestation period, Rajasthan Patrika in association with Pan Bahar is back with a bang and the training lessons for their Dandiya Mahotsav 2016 are going to begin from Thursday, September 22, 2016. There is an unmatched level of excitement that has been observed and that has been received from the public for the Dandiya nights in the Navratra season in the Pink City. People are waiting eagerly to dance to the beats of Dandiya.

Dandiya training classes: All the information you need at one place

Training lessons for Dandiya are being scheduled to begin from 08:30 AM in the morning and continue up to 09: 30 PM in the night. This time slot will be broken down into seven batches and the same will be convened at the venue- Shivam Garden, Jacob Road, Civil Lines, Jaipur. Batches have been segregated on the basis of women and mix-category.

Late registrations? Not registered to get train from the Dandiya dance lessons? Here’s what you can do:

If a Dandiya enthusiast has not registered and enrolled himself/herself till date with the Rajasthan Patrika Dandiya Mahotsav team for Dandiya lessons, then he/she can hurry up and grab the opportunity to do the same from and in between 11:00 AM – 06:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Rajasthan Patrika registration office: Registrations are being taken down at the Rajasthan Patrika Office, Event Department, Kesargarh. The office is situated on (Jawaharlal Nehru Marg) JLN Marg. Passport size photographs a must, don’t forget them: Two passport size photographs are a pre- requisite and this is a mandate for getting oneself registered.

Mix batches:

  • 08:30 AM – 09:30 AM
