When we talk of the Pink City being included on the list of smart cities in India, we are determined to work towards making the city into one. Speaking of the progress path that Jaipur is onto, quite a few projects that were a proposal have turned into a reality by now. Something that the city aggressively works towards for enhancement is tourism. Bold Rajasthani Cultural Tourism. Rajwada style in the royal state of Rajasthan.Giving you a whiff of what the article and its contents contain today, we are talking about night tourism here in the Pink City, Jaipur.
Do not limit night tourism merely to a concept and an idea in your mind. Make it grow, make it bigger. Promote and progress towards creating night tourism in the royal and cultural state of Rajasthan. This has been lately quoted by the Rajasthan Tourism Secretary Ms. Roli Singh where she briefed the media on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Ms. Roli briefed the media for the event 'Jaipur by Nite' which is planned to be arranged in the Pink City on September 16th and September 17th 2016 (Friday & Saturday).
This will be the 4th edition of the event 'Jaipur by Nite' and the same is being arranged and controlled by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Young Indians (YI), Department of Tourism (DOT), Government of Rajasthan and the Union Ministry of Tourism. Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) is also another supporter for the event that’s scheduled for the third week of September.
Rajasthan Tourism Secretary Ms. Roli Singh further cleared the air and went on to educate the masses by way of media that there is no scantiness of places in Jaipur to promote night tourism and the same must be achieved. It is a compelling need that the state and its government must look into using night tourism as an opportune concept for propping up tourism in the state. Prop it up in a way that it’s sustainable and healthy for culture and lifestyle. Setting an example of the Pink City and, Ms. Roli added that the city withholds within itself vast potential for night tourism. Domestic as well as tourists of international nature will contribute to brew the night tourism in Jaipur and Rajasthan.
Ms. Roli also made suggestions like create pedestrian-friendly areas in the city and state, keep the city clean, green and safe for visitors of all sorts of nature and background. These suggestions were primarily made to tap the incoming tourism into the state and the city. Coming next to security measures, Ms. Roli laid emphasis on the significance of security measures which will be ‘the key’ to uphold night tourism. Rajasthan and Jaipur in her opinion are safe in this aspect.
Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Mr. Rajat Agrawal expressed that the model of 'Jaipur by Nite' has been conceived with the primal notion of augmenting the long weekend and turning it into a blissful holiday weekend and also to boost the summer and monsoon tourism and to put it forward and serve it to the tourists as the ideal location for planning their short breaks to and to be exact this has been said in light of the Pink City, Jaipur. What’s being also promoted and offered is that the dawn and the dusk time are delightful in the summer and the monsoon season in Jaipur and also the hotels here in the city offer quite a few jaw dropping deals with their gorgeous outlays and rooms being easy to book at an oh-so-reasonable rate.
An excellent feedback has been recorded for the 4th version of the ‘Jaipur by Nite’ event, as shared by the Director and Head of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mr. Nitin Gupta. Senior officials and ambassadors from diverse countries like Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia are flying down to India into the royal state of Rajasthan to see and witness its tradition and culture first hand. All this is bound to increase the tourism and its flow into the state and the Jaipur city.
