The Pokemon GO has gone viral across nations. Though it has been officially released in 15 countries, the game is already being played by worldwide game lovers. The 15 countries where Pokemon Go has been released officially have access to download the gaming app via Google Play Store. These 15 countries also include Japan and Brazil.
The places where people can get Pokemon GO for their smart phones through Google Play Store and start hunting for Pokemons in their locality include – Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Fiji, Solomon Island, Federated States of Micronesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan Papua New Guinea and Palau.
Whereas countries like India are still waiting for the game to get released officially.
Last week, Pokemon GO developer Ninatic told that the reason behind the delay in launch of Pokemon GO game in countries like India. He said, “We have limited access by third-party services which were interfering with our ability to maintain quality of service for our users and to bring Pokemon GO to users around the world. The large number of users have made the roll-out of Pokemon GO around the world an... interesting... challenge,”
Now with the latest Pokemon GO update, most of these third-party services such as Pokevision are unusable. So, you can expect the official launch of Pokemon GO in countries like India soon.
Though the absence of an official Pokemon GO release hasn’t stopped fanatics from playing the game, but an official release will further help in making it reach masses. The developers of the game haven’t announced the release date of the game yet. It may however, happen as early as mid-August.
Along with India, other Asian countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka too may get it soon.
The Pokemon GO game is a free augmented reality (AR) game that lets players catch virtual characters in real life environment. It is currently available only for iOS and Android platforms, but will come to Windows phones eventually.
