Dubai Smart City Company Extended An Interest In Smart Infrastructure Development In Jaipur.


Dubai Smart City Company has shown interest in Companies of Knowledge Sector for Developing Plug and play infrastructure, and in the smart city plans of the Rajasthan Government. A team from Dubai will soon visit Jaipur for the same.

Honourable Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, on Sunday met with Dr. Baiju George and other officials of Dubai Smart City. During this meet-up, the minister extended an offer to Smart City Officials to help in the development of Smart Infrastructure of Jaipur. Dubai Smart City is a sister concern of Dubai holding, which is working on the development of Kochi (Kerala), South Korea, Nigeria and Matala. Before this, the chief minister met with the chairman and CEO of the Emirates Group, and the chairman and secretary of the Public Aviation Department, Sheikh Bin Saiyad Ali Maktum. The chairman of the Emirates group accepted the offer for the betterment of the air connectivity between the cities of Jaipur and Dubai.

Honourable chief minister, Vasundhara Raje said that she has received some offers for investment during this short journey. She also added that she will try to bring the offers on surface. Members of IBPS and non - resident Indian entrepreneurs will become part of this endeavour. During this, Minister of department of housing and environment, Mr. Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Secretary of Chief Minister Counsel, Mr. C. M. Rajan, and official of Jaipur Development Authority, Mr. Shikhar Agarwal were also present.
