Architectural and design of Jaipur Heritage Buildings was Displayed in Exibition at Jawahar Kala Kendra


Maps of designs of historical buildings get displayed

3 days exhibition “Documentation of historic buildings” commences in Jawahar Kala Kendra from Monday. The exhibition has commenced under flagship of 15 days event “Triple ID Design Yatra”. The event has been started to provide designs to general public. Maps related to documentation of designs of almost 20 historical buildings of Jaipur and Rajasthan have been displayed in the exhibition. Maps of Jalmahal, Bihari Temple, Panna Meena Kund and Sagar Lek have been included in the exhibition.

Talk show of Architect Kavita Jain on Documentation shall also be organised. Exhibition was inaugurated by Art, Culture and Tourism Secretary Roli Singh.

Exhibition for conservation 

Objective of exhibition is conservation of historical buildings. Firstly, these buildings are documented and then condition assessment and conservation proposal is submitted to Government.

Street Play gets organised

Street play is shown every day during the Design Yatra. On Monday, street play was shown in New Atish Market. In a 10 minute play, people were made aware about our responsibilities for historic buildings. Besides this, information related to designs was also provided to the people.
