These days you can see couples wearing same style designer dresses in parties for engagement, wedding, birthday celebration, wedding anniversary, etc. The craze for couple dress is increasing day by day in the city. Couple dresses look more stylish and add a special attraction to the party. Designers say that these days, youngsters are getting couple dresses made on the party themes. Couple dresses have similar colour combinations and work on them. Along with couple dresses, similar style dresses for the entire family is also coming into trend.

Indo-Western Style in Demand

When it comes to couple dresses, people prefer ‘achkan’, ‘sherwani’, Indo-western, kurta and jacket for men and gowns, Indo-western, saree and lehanga for women. Indo-western style is in the demand these days.

Designer Rajniral Babuta says, “Couple dress is mostly based on colour combination and the work style. This trend is growing rapidly in the pink city, where you can see people in couple dresses in parties. Indo-western dress style is being preferred the most, in which people are mostly focusing on the print material and styling.”

Designer Mohit Falod says, “There was a time when people used to ask for look-alike dresses for twins. But now, this trend is being incorporated at big level among people of all ages for both couples, twins, kids, mother-daughter and families. This concept came into the metro cities first and now this trend is growing rapidly in the pink city.”
