All around the world May 3 is called as World Asthma Day. If you frequently experience shortness of breath or you hear wheezy sound in your chest on breathing, this is the symptoms of asthma or you may have asthma. If people with asthma are exposed to a substance to which they are sensitive or a situation that changes their regular breathing patterns, the symptoms can become more severe.
Asthma symptoms affects more on children’s as compare to adult. Asthma often runs in families – According to World Health Organizations about half of the causes are due to genetic susceptibility and half result from environmental factors like urbanization. Asthma can be best managed by an allergist and yoga.
Asthma causes such as ragweed, pollen, animal dander or dust mites and also irritants in the air like smoke, chemical fumes or strong odors.
According to Dr. B S Sharma Head of pediatric medicine Unit department SMS College Jaipur said that – He was said make more effect on urban children’s. He was make a study on this topic and had conducts two studies on urban school children’s – one in 2008 to 2009 and the second one from 2011 to 2012. On the first study resulted that 7.59% children have asthma. In the second study, the prevalence of asthma was 18.63%. This was the very serious matter for Jaipurits.
Dr. B S Sharma said that among children, if there is frequent and repeated coughing while running or walking fast, it shows that the child is showing asthma symptoms.
Common symptoms to watch for asthma are
There are many type of medicines are available in markets but the proper treatment will take under the guidance of doctor. Mostly people take two kind of treatment which was – quick relief medicines and long term control medicines.
