Cartist Studio to Provide Facilities to Artists in the Jaipur City

Many times you may have heard of and talked about complaints that art and artists aren’t given much facilities and comfort. But there is good news for the artists in Jaipur. ‘Cartists’ is opening a studio in Jaipur where artists will be given the space and facilities to bring their imaginations onto canvases for free.

A platform for artists

This studio by Cartist will provide a platform to all artists, regardless of the medium they work on. Art will be respected in all forms whether you paint a canvas or an automobile. Cartist’s founder, Himanshu Jangid says, “It is important to have a place in the city where artists can bring out their real colours without any outside intervention. Today artists do get the freedom but they don’t often get the exposure that is needed for them to rise and shine. The development of this studio focuses on these two things – providing the artists of the city complete freedom of art and the right exposure.”

Idea behind the Studio

There is this ‘Fillmore School’ in Washington DC, America, which inspired Cartist to build a similar platform in Jaipur. The Cartist Studio, which is to be developed in the city, aims at proving artists a platform where they can work for free and get the right exposure for their art.

A Session Every Month, Free Wi-Fi and Library

Cartist will be providing free Wi-Fi, computer, free space and other facilities to ensure that the artists working here can connect with art associated activities happening across the globe. Also, a session will be conducted every month where guests from different countries of the world will be invited. The studio will also house a library with some of the finest books on art and craft.

Exhibition Center

Another attraction of this studio will be an ‘Exhibition Center’ where impressive artworks of the artists will be displayed and promoted. Cartist’s Founder, Himanshu revealed that one selected artist would be provided a space to showcase his artwork every month. Along with this, Cartist will promote the best artist worldwide.
