Air connectivity to and from Jaipur gets more strengthened


Being a prominent tourist destination and a part of the Golden Triangle that forms tourist circuit which connects Jaipur, Delhi and Agra, Jaipur has been blessed with high connectivity through air, rail and road transport system to major cities of the country and few international countries as well.

Specially, air connectivity has been regularly improved due to organization of various national and international events and increasing tourism. Recently agencies of Singapore also visited Jaipur to study Jaipur Airport and learn some positives developments that has firmly placed Jaipur airport in the list of best airports of the world.

Frequency of flights increased

In the last one year, frequency of flights on Jaipur airport has increased from 33 to 47. Airlines have been increasing the frequency continuously due to tourism and events. Recently, Indigo Airlines has increased the connectivity from Srinagar and now journey of flight shall be from Jaipur to Delhi and from Delhi to Srinagar. Travellers can travel from Jaipur to Srinagar via Delhi.

More Surveillance cameras to be installed on terminals

Security has been strengthened by installing more surveillance cameras on terminal 1 and terminal 2. 35 new cameras on terminal 1 and 45 new cameras on terminal 2 have been installed which shall increase the number of 35 already installed cameras. Solar plant is also going to start soon to save electricity.

Food chain to be initiated soon; regional food variety to be increased

Variety of regional food is also going to increase in food court to meet the demand of regional food viz. Rajasthani spice food. Also American Fast Food Company is opening its food chain in the food court which shall provide more options to the travellers.

How Jaipur is connected through other mediums?

Jaipur is well connected with major cities of India through trains and buses. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) runs bus journey from Jaipur to all major northern and central cities of the country. Further Jaipur Junction serves as the Headquarter of North Western Railway of Indian Railways and operates trains from and through Jaipur to major cities and districts of entire India.

So whether you visit Jaipur for holidays or commercial purpose, you can always ensure nice travelling experience. As it goes, “Atithi Devo Bhava!”
