How are Wax Statues Made?

Sculptor Susanta Ray told that the development of statues starts with creating a miniature work based on the person’s body structure. After that they prepare the person’s face in clay, followed by the development of POP mode. After the completion of this process, the statue is given a proper shape in ‘B chemical’. Petroleum jelly is applied to the statue, after which the artists finish it by adding fine details like hair, eyes, nails, teeth, etc. Even after being displayed in the museum, these wax statues have to be preserved and kept in suitable temperature.

Special Attraction for Kids Too

The museum authorities have a special plan for kids. Kids will be able to see statues of their favourite cartoon characters and superheros. Kids section is expected to display staues of Ironman, Superman, Doremon, etc.
