Skill Development and its enhancement has become a mandate in present times. To give a new insight to the youngsters of the city, Indian Skill Development Campus has been planned to initiate from April 23, 2016 in the city of Jaipur. The inaugural function for this will be by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan– Smt. Vasundhara Raje Ji.

Eligibility:

For students fresh out of their school, the young graduates and the presently employed people, training in light of job seeking and on the job training will be imparted in this skill development campus.

Location:

The skill development campus will be established in the Mahindra World City on Ajmer road in the city.

The skill development campus is a dream project for

  • Rajendra Joshi – President of the Joshi Foundation in Switzerland.
  • Ursula Joshi – Vice President of the Joshi Foundation in Switzerland.

Under the skill development campus, youngsters have the opportunity to learn the skill development which is based on the Swiss dual model.

Training is proposed to be imparted by way of state of the art infrastructure and machinery that has been brought in from Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Courses:

Tenure: The proposed tenure for the courses at the skill development campus is for a period of 6 months to 1 year.

The poly mechanic course will be inclusive of the art and technical knowledge of milling, turning, grinding, welding, drilling, pneumatic, measuring, assembling and other hand skills. An in-depth training of all the former stated arts will be taught.

Seats Structure and Availability:

Seats in the number of 90 have been planned out of which 60 seats are for the students who take up physics, chemistry and mathematics in their senior secondary schooling (12th) and are toppers for the same.

The remaining 30 seats are for ITI (Industrial Training Institutes) trainers.

Fee structure:

The fees for the skill development campus course is announced to be nearly around ₹ 80 thousand annually.

The provision of scholarship and loan facility will also be provided, such has a statement being issued.
