Rajasthan Divas Celebration 2016

Rajasthan Tourism department is organizing Rajasthan Day (Divas) from 27 March 2016 to 30 March 2016
This event is basically for tourist and the local public of Rajasthan. As per Selander Agarwal, government is organizing lots of events in 4 days like musical night, dance, fashion show, short film show, horse show, camel show, band show.

Opening Ceremony

On 27th March 2016 the opening ceremony will organize at JDA Polo Ground with program of “Run for Rajasthan” and “BSF Camel Tattoo Show". Timing will be 4 PM to 6 PM.

Bhakti Sangit (Gods prayer)

From the 28th to 30th March 2016 bhakti sangit program will organize in the morning from 7 o’clock at different temples of Jaipur like “Moti Dungari Ganesh Temple” and “Khola Ke Hanuman Temple". On 29th evening at 7 o’clock a Qawwali program will also organize at “Subash Chok Masjid”. On the last day 30th March 2016 sangit program will organize at “Govind Dev Ji Temple” at 12:30 afternoon.

Golf Tournament

Golf matches will be played at JDA Golf course on 28th and 29th March 2016.

Child Film Festival

Child Film Festival will be organizing on 28th and 29th March 2016 at Crystal Palm Multiplex. There will be 4 shows per day, the timing will be 10 am to 5pm.

Cultural and Tourism base International Short Film Festival

International Short Film Festival will be organizing from 28th to 30th March 2016 at Jawhar Kala Kendar (JKK) the timing will be morning 11 o’clock to evening 6 o’clock. In this International Film festival many different short films based on culture or tourism will be shown. Closing ceremony will be on the last day (30th march) at 12 o’clock afternoon. This festival will be organized with the help of “Indian Infotainment Media Corporation Mumbai.

Army Shows

On the 28th and 29th March Army will organize there shows at JDA Polo Ground, it will start 4:30 afternoon to 6 o’clock evening. There will be many activities by the army persons like Hours Show, Mass Band Show, Para Tournament, Para Motors and Dog Show etc.

Games Activities

Tourism department will organize many different games activities for game lovers on 28th march 2016 at SMS Stadium, it will start in evening 5:30 o’clock to 7 o’clock. The activities are Kabbadi (for boys & girls), Run for Rajasthan, Indian Kusti (boys only), and Kho-Kho (both boys & girls).
Same on 29th march 2016 at SMS Stadium at same time activities like Tirandaji (for girls & boys), Snatoliya (for girls &boys), Gilli Danda (boys only), Rumal Jhapata (girls only).

Musical Night

Now the time comes for music lovers. Tourism department is organize Live Musical Night of Singer Arijit Singh on 28th march 2016 at Albert Hall, it will start from 7 o’clock evening.

On the next day on 29th March 2016, the famous Music Director “Saleem & Sulaman” will perform at Albert Hall, it will start from 7 o’clock. And last but not the least the talented folk singer of Rajasthan & Cock Studio Fame “Bhawari Devi” will perform for Jaipurites.

Heritage Fashion Show

To showcase lifestyle of Royal families, a fashion show will be organize at Albert Hall on the evening of 29th March 2016. Famous fashion designers like “Bibi Russel” is taking part in this show

Closing Ceremony

Same as the high class opening ceremony, closing ceremony will be organize at Janpat on 30th march 2016, it will start in evening 6:15 o’clock.
