Jaipur International Airport (JAI) is the primary airport serving Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, India. Also, it is the only international airport in the Rajasthan state. The airport is located in the southern suburb of Sanganer, which is approx. 13 km from the city of Jaipur. The airport was granted the status of an international airport on December 29, 2005. The civil apron of the airport can accommodate 14 aircrafts of the size of an Airbus A320 and the new terminal building is efficient of handling up to 1000 passengers at a time.

This selection was based on several parameters such as cleanliness, safety, security, runways, parking, facilities, etc.

Airport Lounges: The newly constructed terminal of Jaipur International Airport has 3 VIP lounges for special guests, 2 of which are located at the departure area while 1 is located at the arrival area at 2nd floor. Getting To and From Jaipur Airport
Jaipur International Airport is approx. 10 km away from the main city area of Jaipur, a 30-45 mins drive based on the daytime traffic. The airport is easily accessible from all parts of the city. When moving out of the airport, you can book yourself a prepaid taxi from the taxi counter, which is located near the final exit gate. You can book a prepaid taxi to anywhere in Jaipur. While prepaid taxis are the best option to get to the city from the airport, another good option is to ask your hotel to arrange a pick up for you. Then, there are a number of cab services running in the city such as OLA, Uber, Meru, etc. You can check their respective mobile apps for fare and booking purposes.
Taxi drivers in Jaipur sometimes take you to their choice of hotel if you don't have a firm choice of your own. They might have some commission fixed with the hotel they take you to. So, it is advisable for tourists to book their hotel stay in advance.
