Preparations have begun for a major expansion of Jaipur's metro network. A “Mega Blueprint” will be created to connect every part of the city with the metro.

The Central Government has approved the construction of the 42.80 km long Metro Phase-2 from Prahladpura to Todi Mod. The project will be completed in 4 phases.

In Jaipur, on the occasion of Chaitra Shukla Purnima (Hanuman Janmotsav), celebrations were held across temples in the city.

To make tourism in the capital safer and more convenient, Jaipur Police is developing a high-tech app. A ‘Pink Guide App’ for both domestic and foreign tourists visiting the city is being prepared and is expected to be launched by the last week of April.
