Rajasthan Startup Fest 2016: Jaipur at Number 8 in Startups; Founders Share Their Journey


Rajasthan Startup Fest 2016 took place on Saturday, November 5, 2016 and Sunday, November 6, 2016 at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur. This was the 4th startup fest that was organized in the last 10-14 months in Rajasthan, including the smaller versions of the fest that recently took place in the cities of Kota and Udaipur.

You would be glad to know that Jaipur holds the number 8 position in the country when it comes to startups just after Ahmedabad and Chennai.

During the event on startups, a number of startup founders based in and out of Jaipur were seen sharing their journeys, experiences, the challenges they faced and how their journeys brought a change in their lives.

Some patiently heard startup founders at the event include Sumit Jain, the co-founder at Common Floor and Anurag Jain, the co-founder at CarDekho, who addressed the audiences during the Inaugural Ceremony of the event. While Sumit shared some common problems that you face when you turn into an entrepreneur, Anurag talked about his journey to entrepreneurship since the year 2007, which only got recognition in the year 2013.

Mohit Dubey, co-founder and CEO at Carwale, Rajesh Mundra, the Founder and CEO, Truworth Wellness, Ajay Data, Founder at Data Infosys, Abhishek Soni, Co-Founder at Tax2Win, Abhishek Daga, Co-Founder Thrillophilia.com, the social entrepreneurs like Rustom Sengupta, CEO, Boond and Jagdeep Gambhir, the CEO and Co-Founder at Karma Healthcare and women entrepreneurs like Chita Gurnani Daga, Co-Founder and CEO at Thrillophilia.com also shared their experiences during different panel discussions that took place during the 2-day Rajasthan Startup Fest.
