Foreign students undergo their training and research in the Jaipur city


Foreign students pursue their internships and work on their research study projects in colleges in the city that provide internship and research study. Research in Jaipur has been on an increasing trend where International research in Jaipur is on a high.

Students from cross borders are setting their feet in the Pink City for research purposes.

Obuda University:

Students from the Óbuda University, a technical university in Budapest, Hungary have arrived in the city of Jaipur.

Pursuing course: Students from the course of Mechanical Engineering from the Óbuda University are here to research on how to make the cabin of a truck driver comfortable.

Case study: Students expressed that the journey of a truck for work purpose is quite a long one in India. During this long driving journey, they are bound to face tiredness, sleepless nights and lazy days. These can be the reasons as to why road accidents take place with trucks.

Research duration and the stay in India: From the past two weeks, the students are researching on the streets and the trucks on the streets for the same. . Their stay is for a period of two more weeks in the country.

Research observation: Students with their study and observation found out that the seating and the steering arrangement in a truck is quite challenging and sturdy. This leads to the generation of vibration inside in those spots. Students hence are researching to reduce and eliminate this gap and the cause of vibration.

The highways of Europe are smooth to drive in comparison to that of India, as stated by the research students. Lifestyle and behavioural patterns of the truck drivers too of the country have a noticeable difference.

Studying old thesis: They are also reading old thesis done by scholars in the past to gain a deeper insight into the study.

Research requirements: Students have expressed the requirement of trucks for their research study.

Presenting the research study to the industry: Students are due to present their research to the industry that caters to truck manufacturing in the country to help them manufacture comfortable cabins in the trucks for the drivers.

Venue for research discussion: For the research program, JECRC University, university in Jaipur city has been convened as the venue for interaction amongst students of different renowned universities.

University Of Stavanger: A student from the University Of Stavanger, Norway stated that he is pursuing his engineering in petroleum. Here in India, he is studying about Fluid Dynamics and Fractional Calculus.

Research programmes lead to an increase in knowledge: Students expressed that research exchange programmes lead to an improvement and gain in one’s own knowledge.

Students from United States of America: Rebecca Smith, a student from the United States of America stated that she is doing her research study on medicinal plants.

Students from Croatia: A student from Croatia is pursuing her research study on water resources. She is collecting data on the depleting water levels of the rivers in India.
