JAIPUR DESIGN CARNIVAL

For the first time in the history of Jaipur, the Pearl Academy, Jaipur presents the designer’s festival to celebrate design. The Jaipur Design Carnival is a day of creative affair which will be celebrated at the much loved Hotel Diggi Palace on April 9, 2016.

The creative thinkers and enthusiasts from the fields of fashion, design and creative business will gather to discuss, learn, display and celebrate the spirit of design and creativity. For the very first session of the carnival, Dushyant Singh, Director Indiawell Hotels Private Ltd & Founder OTH, Rabia Singh & Akash Sinha, Designer & Founder October, and Saurabh Ailawadi , Co-Founder, Gulmohar Lane will be in conversation with Dr. Priya Mary Mathew, discussing about “To be or not to be’ Creative business Dreams”. The second session will grace the benign presence of the CEO of the fastest growing fashion jewellery e-commerce company, Voylla Fashions Pvt. Ltd. He will be talking and discussing about the “Make in India – Trends in Fashion & Luxury Industry” with Geetanjali Kasliwal – Architect & Managing Director of ANANTAYA Home Décor, and much loved Rohit Kamra, Fashion Designer.

In last session “Fashion, Culture & City – The impact on new product development”, the audience will see Vikram Joshi – Founder, Rangotri, Dr. Mimi Schmidt – Historic Houses & Interiors Consultant, Interior designer, Mr. Dileep Baid – Founder, Dileep Industries discussing the said topic with Yunus Khimani, Director at Jaigarh Public Charitable Trust & Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II Museum.
