1. Mughal-e-Azam

The famous classic hit romance of all times, Mughal-e-Azam was also shot here. This famous movie has been a favourite in Bollywood for 100 years of the industry. Many of the famous Mughal-e-Azam’s last shots were taken at famous forts of the pink city, Jaipur. This is a huge mark of respect for Jaipur city, of being the part of such a classic romance movie.

2. Rang de Basanti

This amazing patriotic thematic movie has been shot in Jaipur city. The famous song, ‘Masti Ki Pathshalla’ was shot here in Nahargarh Fort. The huge magnanimous fort is a huge beauty, which was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II which is perched on the Aravalli hills.

3. Jodha Akbar

This remarkable blend of art, love and romance has been directed by the famous director Ashutosh Gowarikar. He recreated the whole contemporary romance feel in the movie Jodha Akbar starring Hrithik Rohan and Aishwraya Rai Bachchan, which was shot at the famous Amer Fort. Amer Fort was built in 1592, and is considered to be the one of the most beautiful and oldest forts of Jaipur.

4. Bol Bachchan

The famous movie starring Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan and Asin, has been shot at the famous and beautiful Chomu Palace, Jaipur. The beautiful Chomu Palace is a heritage hotel which is 300 years old and thus, it has a lot of such structural beauteous places which can is perfect for the romantic movies.

5. Shudh Desi Romance

This amazing movie of Yash Raj Productions, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra, has been shot in the Jaipur city. Important scenes from the movie have been shot at Jal Mahal, Amer Fort and Hawa Mahal.

6. Veer

Salman Khan's amazing and hit movie, Veer has been shot in Jaipur. The movie has been shot with its beauteous scenes at Amer Fort.

7. Sabse Bada Khiladi

This amazing and famous movie Sabse Bada Khiladi has a really hip and happening song named ‘Bholi Bhali Ladki’, which was shot at the famous Birla Mandir, Jaipur. Birla Mandir is also referred as Lakshmi Narayan Temple and is located at the Moti Dungri Hill in Jaipur.

8. Beta

This super-hit movie starring Anil Kapoor and Maduri Dixit was shot in the Pink City, Jaipur. The famous song from the movie, ‘Koyal Si Teri Boli’ has its shots at Hawa Mahal which is one the most amazing monuments in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal is also referred as the ‘Palace of Wind’ because of its famous ‘jharokhas’. This place is mainly known for its red sandstone and its intricate designs.

9. Lamhe

This amazing romantic hit movie starring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor was shot at Kanak Vrindawan Garden, which is situated in a valley surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. This garden is located on your way to the famous Amer Fort. It was made by the Kachhawa Rajput Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur and is also approximately 274 years old.

10. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

This famous movie British comedy-drama film, ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ was shot in the year 2012 starring Judi Dench, Celia Miry and Bill Nigh. There are shots from several beautiful areas of Jaipur such as Tripoli Bazar.

11. Bhool Bhulaiyaa

The movie featuring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel, Shiney Ahuja, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav was shot extensively for a 41-day schedule at Jaipur. It also features scenes shot at Chomu, which is located just 30 km from Jaipur. Jaipur’s probably last street photographer Tikam Chand’s 150 year old camera was also a part of this movie.

12. Zubeida

Directed by Shyam Benegal, this National Award winning film was shot in the Naraina Niwas Palace of Jaipur. A Karishma Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai starrer, Zubeida won several accolades for its locations and performances. Naraina Niwas Palace was built in the year 1928 by General Amar Singh and was named after his father Thakur Narain Singh. It now runs as a heritage hotel.

13. Paheli

Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee, parts of the movie 'Paheli' were shot at the Hadi Rani ki Baori of Jaipur. A stepwell, the Hadi Rani ki Baori is said to have a history of special social and historical significance. This baori is an architectural wonder of Jaipur, which is also said to be home to certain supernatural beings.

14. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

The famous ‘bade miyan toh bade miyan chote miyan subhanallah!’ song belongs to this Bollywood movie, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, Raveena Tandon and Anupam. Scenes from the movie were shot at Jaipur’s City Palace, which is one not to miss location. This location also brings back all fond memories of the majestic couple of Govinda and Raveena in the film.

15. Khoobsurat

This very ‘khoobsurat’ movie starring Sonam Kapoor and the Pakistani heart-throb Fawad Khan was a typical fairy tale kind of a movie. You can locate Amer Fort in the movie.

16. Bajirao Mastani

Bajirao Mastani is another movie that has a song shot at Jaipur location. The graceful dance performance by Deepika Padukone on the song, ‘mohe rang do laal’ was shot at the Amer Fort.
